OUR BELIEFS

In one complete statement,

WE BELIEVE:

Baptism is the "immersion" of a penitent believer" in "water",

in the name of the "Father, Son & Holy Spirit",

for the "forgiveness of sins" through Christ's blood,

and to receive the gift of the "holy Spirit".

A breakdown of beliefs is as follows:

1) A person must hear the gospel

"How, then,  can they call  on the one they have not believed in? And how

can they believe in the one of whom they have  not heard. And how can

they hear without someone preaching to them ?"      Romans 10:14

2) A person must "BELIEVE" the gospel

"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not

believe will e condemned".    Mark 16:16

3) A person must "REPENT" of sin

"In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all

people everywhere to repent".    Acts 17:30

4) A person must "CONFESS FAITH"  in Christ before witnesses

"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you

were called when you made the good confession in the presence of many

witnesses".       I Timothy 6:12

5) A person must "BE BAPTIZED"  into Christ for salvation

"Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ

for the forgiveness of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit".

Acts: 2:38
